Frequently asked questions

Privacy & Data

What data does CLISpace collect?

We only collect anonymized usage statistics — things like token counts, message counts, model usage, and session timestamps. We never access or store your actual conversations, prompts, or code.

Do you upload my conversations?

No. Your conversations stay on your computer. The clispace CLI only reads aggregated stats from your local Claude Code logs — it never reads or transmits the content of your conversations.

How does the sync process work?

When you run 'clispace sync', the CLI reads your local Claude Code stats, aggregates them into anonymous metrics (tokens used, models used, etc.), and uploads only those numbers. Your prompts and responses never leave your machine.

Will you ever share my conversations?

In the future, we may add optional features that let you share specific conversations or snippets — but only with your explicit consent, on a per-conversation basis. This will always be opt-in, never automatic.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your dashboard settings. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our servers.
